Two ways out of the closed circle of thinking

Some people say as a result of feeling dissatisfied: “My problem has no solution!”

Or, (I cannot find solutions no matter how much I think!)

We call this type of thinking as inside a closed circle!

Where the person moves in his thinking from the problem and returns to it, and not to the solution!!

A psychological consultant says: Each of us has his own way of thinking to solve the problems we face. There are those who think positively outside the problem box. To see the farthest aspects of it after that, and there are those who think about the limits of the problem, and some of us think in a negative way until they become more immersed in the problem. Not only that, there are people whose excessive thinking causes mania and illness, and they continue to think and analyze every word and gesture, and enter into a closed circle of thinking that leads to no where.

So there is a problem in the way of thinking about dealing with the problem, and it is a medical condition whose signs appear on the person.

What is the solution? The solution is to get out of that closed circle first by using two ways out:

The first way out: Choosing a trustworthy person, preferably a specialist in the psychological and developmental fields, and explaining the problem to him so that he can help us solve it and provide us with a helping hand to get rid of intellectual paralysis and overcome the psychological barriers that prevent us from seeing and implementing solutions.

The second way out: Adopting problem-solving strategies and committing to a correct and productive way of thinking, and the necessity of psychological adaptation to the crisis reality in order to seek solutions.

We present to you two strategies that can be adopted to seek solutions and confront problems:

The first strategy: solutions from the perspective of faith, values, and morals: that the solutions be derived from the system of values and faith in Allah Almighty, and that the problem be viewed as a test and affliction aimed at strengthening the will and refining the spirit in order to rise to the ranks of the righteous through patience and piety.

The second strategy is repetition and trying: This strategy is based on presenting and writing down several possibilities and alternatives as solutions to the problem. The solution that is closest to the success of solving the problem is identified, and the desired results are expected to occur. If it succeeds, then everything is solved. If it does not succeed, then try again and repeat the solution in another formulation. Or move to an alternative solution until the problem is eliminated from its roots. Trying and repeating is an essential pillar of this strategy.
