Belief in convictions

1- Some people often develop convictions that limit their abilities about their personalities and capabilities, and they believe that they will not achieve success in the future as long as they did not succeed in the past. Therefore, as a result of their fear of pain, they focus constantly on being (realistic) and most of the people who constantly say (Let's be realistic) They live in reality in a state of panic, as they tremble for fear of being frustrated again, and as a result of this fear they develop convictions that push them to hesitate so that they do not provide everything they have, and therefore they achieve limited results.

As for great leaders, they are rarely (realistic) they are intelligent and they enjoy accuracy, but they are not considered realistic according to the standards of other people, just as what is considered realistic for one person is completely different from what is realistic for another person, depending on the reference of each of them. Gandhi, for example, believed that he He could achieve self-determination for India without violent resistance from Great Britain, which had never happened before. Gandhi was not a realist in his conception, but he certainly proved to be accurate in his analysis.

Likewise, it was not realistic for a man to be convinced that he could give happiness to people by building a merry-go-round in the middle of an orange grove, and to ask people to pay not only the fees for the games they ride in this garden, but the price of the entrance ticket to it. No park like it had ever been created in the world, but Walt Disney had a sense of certainty about how few people lived throughout history, and so he was able to transform his circumstances with the help of his optimism.

2- The new experiments that people undertake do not guarantee a change in convictions. Some people may face experiences that are completely opposite to their convictions, but they reinterpret them in the way that suits them and that they want in order to support their existing beliefs. In the hall by an invisible gas flowing through the air-conditioning vents I tried to calm her down by altering the tone pattern of my voice which is usually a method of calming a person - but she burst out saying: You see, your speech is beginning to slack because of the gas! So, whatever was going on, she was using it to support her convictions that we were being poisoned and I was finally able to break her pattern...

New experiences bring about a change if they lead to a question about our convictions (remember that when we are convinced of something, we do not subject it to any question at all). Thus, little by little, we lose our sense of absolute certainty. Have you ever doubted your ability to do any work?

How did that happen to you? You may have asked yourself nasty questions like, “Am I going to fail?” What if things don’t work out the way I did? I used them to test the validity of convictions that we may have accepted blindly and uncritically. That time, but if we examine it, it may become clear to us that what we were convinced of in the subconscious for years was built on a false set of assumptions.
