Iran announces the formation of a military coalition with the countries of the region
The Commander of the Iranian Navy, Admiral Shahram Irani, announced the formation of new regional and international alliances.
"A joint alliance of the Iranian navy will soon be formed with the countries of the region, including Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and Iraq," Shahram Irani said in a television interview.
He added, "The region will be devoid of any unjustified force, and the peoples of the region will be in control of their security using their soldiers."
Referring to the naval alliance between Iran, Russia and China, the naval commander said, “This tripartite alliance is being developed with Russia and China, as we conduct maneuvers every year. In addition, regional alliances are taking shape.
He pointed out that "all the countries of the northern Indian Ocean region have come to believe that they should stand by the Islamic Republic of Iran and achieve security jointly with great synergy."
