Your smile makes others happy, and it is a reason for your happiness as well.
If you can do something that makes others happy and it doesn't cost you money or time, should you do it or not? And if the same thing makes you happy too, should you do it or not? So what is that magical thing that brightens your day and the days of those around you and doesn't cost you anything? It is a smile.
Scientists at the University of California, San Francisco have identified nineteen types of smiles, each of which can convey a happy message, which is most likely met with a similar smile.
In a study of adults of different ages, it was found that there is a tendency for people to imitate the expressions of those around them. In other words, sad faces lead to more sad faces, and smiling faces lead to smiling and happiness.
