Storing good habits

As we acquire antiques and jewelry and store them in the safest place, we can also store good habits in our souls.

I have had personal experience in this field, and it has been proven to me that this is very possible and beneficial. When my children were young, and my house was small, the place was, as usual, an arena of continuous battle from early morning until late at night, but the calmness was nowhere to be found.

And with the children's fights and noises, how can the parents rest?

There is no doubt that the loss of calmness is a cause for nervous tension, and the occurrence of problems in the home.

This was my situation in the summer of 1988, when I thought of doing the process of “storing calm in the soul.” One morning, I left the house to the nearest garden, sat in a quiet corner far from the noise of people, and began to do the following experiment:

At first I did some simple exercises, then I threw my body over a wooden chair that was there, and I took calm and deep breaths, and with every inhalation and exhalation I inspired myself to calm down and took as much of it as I could store in myself.

And this process was not just self-suggestion, but I actually felt as if calmness was concentrated in my body, as oxygen was concentrated in it.

When I went back, I had brought home a good amount of peace of mind, as I charged my nerves to face the children's hustle and trouble, and I was in a much better condition than the previous days, and I felt that I could bear their hustle and trouble better than any other day. I also felt that I could instill calm in them as well.

This was my first experience with tranquility, but it was followed by other psychological experiments to stock up on other spiritual matters, all with good results.

It is truly a pioneering experience and deserves the initiative.
