There is hardly a family - in which more than two children are present - without quarrels between siblings. This quarrel is considered a normal thing, and is usually due to several reasons - most of which are trivial in the eyes of the parents. It is either a dispute over the ownership of a toy or a personal item, or one of them lends the other for neglecting his studies or for a characteristic in him, so the reaction is a quarrel and dispute, or the dispute may be to impose authority, especially since the (eldest) wants to have the authority of the father and the rest of the siblings must obey him and comply with his orders, and take his opinions. So, quarrelling is a natural phenomenon, and there is no room for fear of its consequences as long as it remains within the reasonable, limited and familiar framework in most families. Therefore, it is better for parents to pay attention to some preventive measures in the subject of quarrelling, and these are the most prominent: Filling the child's time with useful and beneficial work, whether this work is studying or practicing a hobby; because unemployment or Vice.
The home atmosphere should be full of compassion, tenderness and love.
The tone in which parents communicate should be friendly and in a calm voice.
Not favouring one child over another to prevent envy and jealousy.
Avoid ridicule and belittling one of the children by his parents or the rest of his siblings.
Preserve the children's private property, and do not interfere in their work or force them to do it.
Parents should not show their anxiety and dissatisfaction with life and the social and economic situation in front of their children, and do not overdo pessimistic images; because this reflects negatively on the children.
Parents are advised in the event of a quarrel between children to leave these children alone or at least get used to solving their problems themselves in a calm atmosphere under parental supervision
