Playing is an effective means of education, provided that it is prepared and planned, as playing gives the child an intellectual space to soar with his imagination and live his dreams, so his perceptions expand and his will grows and hardens. Giving the child the opportunity to play and have fun and participating in it makes him progress towards acquiring skills and talents, and gives him the ability to take the appropriate position whether in the present or the future. When the father or mother plays with the child, it leads to building and growing his abilities and talents, and communication is achieved between family members, especially if the play is collective.
Education through play has many results, including: -
Educational goals are achieved and their fruits emerge if the child feels safe, appreciated and cared for when the child takes a role among the group and feels not excluded.
Interactive play - i.e. shared play - helps the child get rid of shyness and fear, which makes him feel familiarity and harmony away from introversion and feeling lonely.
The joy that a child feels while playing with his parents creates an atmosphere of harmony and trust.
Many good qualities and virtuous morals appear in the child through play, so his personality acquires a beautiful color and good qualities.
One of the fruits of the father or mother playing with the child is developing his language skills and increasing his vocabulary, through the conversation and dialogue that takes place between them.
Studies have proven the importance of playing together with parents in terms of their psychological health, as it helps them release their energy in a safe way, and also helps them get rid of anxiety or any negative feelings that may afflict them.
