It is a depression that affects young mothers during the six months following childbirth. The mother feels extremely tired, has a strong feeling of loss of hope, sleeps less and loses self-confidence. It happens to (4-5%) of women. In the first days, the mother feels relieved that she has passed The ordeal of giving birth successfully and the joy of having the new baby and receiving congratulations on it, but that ends quickly, and she finds herself alone with her newborn while she is in a weak health, psychological, and hormonal state, and is often unprepared for this affliction, so she cries and is pessimistic. She hates sitting with women and is in a state of astonishment and despair. The condition goes away automatically after (2-4) months without treatment and the mother returns to her normal condition and adapts to the new baby.
