There are many manifestations of fathers’ lack of awareness of their educational responsibilities, including the lack of any role for them in the family, as they eat and sleep and do not care about anything, and only think about themselves. They are role models in inactivity and laziness.
These parents are distinguished by their varying morals, as they have a specific decision and action every hour. We see them sometimes slapping the child for committing a specific mistake, and at other times they do not care if he commits the same mistake. Rather, they deal with him gently and tenderly, so the child forgets himself and the duties assigned to him.
They are also characterized by weak temperament. We see them losing themselves at the first failure they encounter, and they sometimes resort to crying and lamenting their luck. They do not care that their weaknesses appear in front of their children, and they use lies and tricks to save themselves if they are exposed to the slightest problem.
When they return from work, we see them sitting in a corner of the house to rest, and they do not have any orders or prohibitions, or they are not effective and do not affect the children. They are present in the house in appearance, but they are absent from it in practice because they do not pay attention to their children as required.
We can describe a father who watches his son but is busy reading the newspaper or book as not feeling responsible. A father who only cares about his food when it is time to eat and does not speak to his son or talk to him is neglecting his responsibility and his job. This also applies to that father who does not say a word despite watching his son behave in inappropriate behavior or speak words that are far from polite.
