Another factor influencing the modification of psychological desires and tendencies is the parenting factor. Those who receive a good education from an early age at the hands of qualified educators will, in their old age, be able to control their instincts and inclinations to a certain extent, because they are accustomed to purity and virtue, and have turned away from sin and vice, thanks to the sound education they have received.
Education, if it is based on the instinct of self-love and is mixed with something of passion and tenderness, then it is an effective factor in curbing instincts and modifying psychological tendencies. But if it does not adopt emotion and tenderness and is satisfied with rational and scientific calculations, it will not be able to face the tyranny of instincts and the outburst of sensations.
Education:
There is an educational approach that has prevailed in the Western world for a long time, aiming to curb instincts and create a true civilization. Hundreds of millions of people have been raised on the basis of this approach through several successive generations, but despite all the efforts that have been made in this framework, they often declare their dissatisfaction with The limits that surrounded their instincts and the restrictions imposed by civilization on obtaining their desires and inclinations, and they will spare no effort to satisfy their instincts by any means if they have the opportunity to do so, decomposing from the restrictions of civilization.
